Probably Stolen Codes

There are no official cheat codes. The studio shipped a modding API and a Workshop, not a password list. This page is here so the search still gets an honest answer.

What was checked

The Steam store page for app 4348910, the soundtrack page, and the Steam news feed from the pricing post through patch 1.0.0.6 were read for this guide on 31 October 2026. None of them publish a cheat code, a console command, a debug password, or a launch option that grants credits. The options the patches do add are ordinary: a bell hotkey, a second back key, a frame-rate cap, and a saved-days slider.

Search pages that promise 'all Probably Stolen codes' in the first week were either repeating that absence or pointing at third-party memory editors. This guide does not host those tools, does not print their hotkeys, and does not explain how to attach them. They are unofficial, they break when the exe changes, and the 1.0.0.6 modding note already shows how fast the game is moving. A trainer written on 30 October is not a code.

What the studio did ship

The launch post announces Steam Workshop support, a modding API, and mod localization. The same post says mods built for the demo probably will not work on the full game. By the evening of launch day the studio was already linking the Workshop and saying dozens of mods were up. On 31 October, patch 1.0.0.6 is a security update for that modding system. Some mods may break until their authors update them. There is a Mods panel in the main menu. Patch 1.0.0.1 fixed it not closing with Escape.

Workshop items are mods, not codes. They can change balance, add items, or alter text. They can also desync a save from a later official patch. The studio's own security note is the warning. If you want the achievements and the story the way 1.0 shipped them, play once without mods. The Workshop link the developer posted is on the release page.

Legal ways to make the game easier

  • Choose Apprentice and the friendlier end of the four difficulties. The developer described that range on purpose.
  • Do not start on Rock Bottom. They called that maximum difficulty.
  • Use the water price cuts. Moisture Farm, Water Filter, and Water Purifier are cheaper than they were at the minute of launch.
  • Read the lease and stop spending the rent. That is the whole store page.
  • Turn on the frame-rate cap if the game stutters. 1.0.0.5 made it VSync and defaulted it on. That is a comfort setting, not a cheat.
  • Adjust text size. Steam lists that option. It does not change the economy.

Codes and achievements

Nothing in the official posts says a mod disables achievements. Nothing says it doesn't. One community wiki claims achievements register only while the client is connected to Steam. That claim is unverified. If a mod changes wealth, reports, or the deed, you are no longer doing the thing the achievement describes. The achievements page is the route that does not require a password.

Things people search for that are not codes

The bell key is B. The back key can be a second bind that copies Esc. Neither one prints credits. Scratcher tickets are a luck item inside the shop, and one wiki claims a 350-credit jackpot. That payout is unverified, and it is still not a code you type on the title screen. The Business Permit, the deed, and Dr. Jackson's markup are prices and unlocks, not passwords. If a loading screen shows a string of letters, assume it is a version or a localization token until a patch note says otherwise. Patch 1.0.0.1 fixed raw formatting codes showing up in the Russian difficulty text. That is a bug, not a cheat.

Save editing is the other search. The options menu keeps a history of days, and Load Game shows earlier days of the newest run. That is a convenience for backing up a mistake, not an invitation to rewrite the credit counter in a text file. This guide does not document save file layouts. A corrupted day history is a support ticket for the studio, especially after the modding security update.

If you came here from a search for 'Probably Stolen money cheat,' the useful answer is still the economy. Apprentice, a gentle difficulty, inspected stock, and the post-hotfix water prices are the supported route. Workshop mods can change balance because the studio shipped a modding API, and they can also break after 1.0.0.6. A mod that adds credits is a mod, not a code printed by the developer, and this page will not rank those downloads. Achievements that check wealth, the deed, or a clean sales history are describing a run you played. Whether a mod voids them is not written down. Assume it might, and keep one unmodded save if the achievements matter.

If a real code appears

The place it would show up is a Steam news post, not a download site. When that happens, this page should quote the post, date it, and say which patch it applies to. Until then the honest title is the one in the search result: no codes yet. Players who find a developer-published code can send it through the contact page with the news URL.

Taken from the Steam store page, Steam news, or the publisher's launch announcement. The same claim appears in more than one independent community write-up, or a Steam achievement id matches those write-ups. Not an official patch note. Single community source, or sources disagree.
