Unofficial
This website is a fan guide. It is not approved by, partnered with, or speaking for Questing Goose Studio or tinyBuild. Probably Stolen, its characters, its UI, and its fiction are their property. Names are used here so players can find help. That use is not a claim of ownership and not a hint of sponsorship.
Accuracy
The guide tries to separate official patch notes from community reports. It still gets stale the hour a hotfix ships. Unverified rows are labeled because they might be wrong, not because they are guaranteed wrong. You are responsible for the credits you spend in the game. Nothing on this site is professional, financial, or legal advice. In-game credits are not money. A walkthrough that says to set rent aside is a game tip.
The site may link to Steam news that later gets edited by the studio. If a paraphrase and the post disagree, the post wins. Achievement percents are a snapshot from a public API and will rise. Prices are regional and include discounts that end.
How you may use the pages
You may read the guide, link to it, and quote a short passage with a link back. You may not copy whole pages onto another site, translate them into a mirror wiki, or feed them into a network of keyword sites. The text was written for this domain. Republishing it competes with the source and strips the dates and tags that make a number safe to use. Data files in the project are there so the operator can update them, not so they can be scraped into an untagged table.
You may not use the site to send malware, to harass the people named in patch notes, or to post someone else's personal data into the contact form. Lou, Dr. Jackson, and the other names are characters. Real people who work on the game are not targets.
Ads and affiliate links
This version shows no ad creatives and no affiliate store widgets. Slots exist in the layout and stay empty unless a configuration flag is turned on, and even then they do not load an ad script until a later change says so. If that changes, the privacy policy changes with it. A link to the Steam store is not an affiliate link unless a future page says it is.
No warranty
The guide is provided as available. There is no warranty that a recipe works on your patch, that an achievement will unlock, or that the site will stay online. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost saves, lost credits, lost time, or decisions you made because a tagged row turned out wrong. Some places do not allow that limit. In those places the limit applies as far as the law actually allows.
Credits, rent, and the deed are game systems. Advice about them is not a promise that your save will match a table tagged unverified. If you lose a run because you followed a community buyout price, the remedy is a new run or a load of an earlier day, not a claim against this website. The options menu's saved-days slider exists for that kind of mistake. Use it. The terms are not a substitute for reading the lease inside the game. They are also not a license to the game. Buying Probably Stolen on Steam is what gives you the right to play it. Reading this guide does not. Linking here from a video description is welcome. Embedding the whole walkthrough in that description is the republishing rule above, and it is the one most likely to matter in the first month, when a dozen sites are racing to rank the same keywords.
Which law, and ending the visit
The operator may be in a different country from you. These terms do not choose a courtroom for you beyond what a local consumer law already requires. If a mandatory rule in your country gives you a right this page tries to waive, that rule wins and the rest of the terms stay. You can stop using the site at any time. Linking away, closing the tab, and blocking the host are enough. There is no account to delete.
Feedback you email can be used to correct a page, including quoting the fact you reported. Do not send anything you are not willing to see paraphrased in a data file. Private details that are not needed for the correction should be left out, and if they arrive anyway you can ask for the mail to be deleted. That request is a privacy matter, covered on the privacy page, not a transfer of the guide's copyright.
Changes
These terms can be updated by editing this page. The date in the lede is the version you are reading. Continuing to use the site after that date means you are using it under the new text. The game’s Steam subscriber agreement is a separate contract and is not modified by anything written here.
Taken from the Steam store page, Steam news, or the publisher's launch announcement. The same claim appears in more than one independent community write-up, or a Steam achievement id matches those write-ups. Not an official patch note. Single community source, or sources disagree. Help us confirm before you rely on the number. Prices and unlock rates move after patches.
