How to read the table
Sort and filter the table. Official rows are prices or names that appear in Steam news through patch 1.0.0.6. Unverified rows come from one community item list or from the credit column of one community recipe table. That second kind of number might be a base value, a crate's worth, or a sale price. The source sites do not define it tightly enough to call it the price you pay Dr. Jackson.
A public item database claimed on the order of 267 items. This page does not copy that dump. Names we could not read in full, duplicate backpack labels, and prices with no sentence attached are left out on purpose. Empty price cells are honest. Inventing a credit value to fill a column would be worse than a blank.
Official right now: Moisture Farm 350 (was 650), Water Filter 25 (was 50), Water Purifier 250 (was 300). Dr. Jackson's markup on Normal is 15%, down from 25%. That markup is not an item price.
The three prices the patches printed
Water was the first economy the studio touched after launch. On 28 October, patch 1.0.0.2 reworked the Water Purifier so its logic was easier to follow, cut the Moisture Farm from 650 to 350, and cut the Water Filter from 50 to 25. The purifier's own price was supposed to move in that pass and did not. Patch 1.0.0.5, two days later, cut it from 300 to 250 and said the change had been missed. If a video from launch night quotes 650 for a moisture farm, it is describing the game before the hotfix, not a secret discount.
The same water pass tells you how the goods behave. Customers now say to take the filter out of a Water Pitcher instead of silently refusing the sale. Scanners show liquid volume truncated to the hundredth, so 1996 µl reads 1.99 mL rather than a rounded 2.00 mL that overstates the container. Those are quality rules, not prices, and they belong next to any water row you stock.
Names the patches confirmed, without a price
Smuggler Bay, Mini Smuggler Bay, and the Smuggler Bay Mod are hiding places, not merchandise you want on the open shelf. Hypertech Storage Bay is a storage item that 1.0.0.1 stopped you nesting inside a smuggler bay. The Dossier can hold a Scavenger's Token as of 1.0.0.5. Food Stamps had their lettering changed. Immunivax had a font fix, which is all the official note says about it. The Gene Scanner is stocked by the Inventor once Rat Ranching unlocks. The Current Converter has a nightly service that a still-sealed crate will not unlock.
Glass Shard plus any bandage becomes a Glass Shiv, and the bandage is not used up. That craft is official and is also on the secrets page. The labeller, spelled that way in the 1.0.0.5 notes, is the tool community guides call a Labeler. The 3D printer, evaporator, and Chem Finisher are machines the patches mention while fixing other bugs. Their shop prices are not in those notes.
Flux Smelting Agent (Advanced) at 300, AgeWell at 350, and AquaScan at 200 come from a single public item list read on 31 October 2026. The same page describes the Aug Scanner and an Alarm Transmitter Module without showing prices in the text we could read. Magazine, pill, bottle, and crop values come from a recipe table on another wiki. A second crafting guide did not reprint those credit figures, so they are not cross-checked. Use them as a hint when the game is closed. Use the in-game tooltip when the game is open.
Quality, tags, haggling, and Dr. Jackson's markup all move the number you actually pay. None of those formulas are published in the news posts. A base value and a counter price are different sentences. This table tries not to mix them, and the notes column says which sentence you are looking at.
How to correct a row
The catalogue lives in `src/data/items.ts`. Each row has a status and a source string. When you confirm a price on patch 1.0.0.6 or later, change the number, set the status, and name the patch or the in-game screen you read. Do not delete the unverified rows just because they are uncomfortable. A tagged guess is easier to fix than a confident blank. The contact page is there for corrections if you do not want to edit the file.
Taken from the Steam store page, Steam news, or the publisher's launch announcement. The same claim appears in more than one independent community write-up, or a Steam achievement id matches those write-ups. Not an official patch note. Single community source, or sources disagree. Help us confirm before you rely on the number. Prices and unlock rates move after patches.
